Bio
Martin is an up and coming London-born singer-songwriter. His unique, intensely personal lyrics and soul piercing belt and falcetto hail from a diverse tradition of genres, from heart-on-your-sleeve ballads to queer dance pop.
From the straight-up heartbreak ballads of Adele to the whimsical R&B and alt-pop inflections of Frank Ocean, Martin's music will resonate with anyone raised on a diet of independent and mainstream pop over the last 20 years.
Martin started singing when he was 8, and has been perfecting his craft as a lyricist since then. He graduated from university, moved home and started as a teacher in local schools while he builds up to the constant aim of releasing and making it in music.
He has been working flat out to perfect a brand that merges relatability and straightforwardness with atmospheric, alt-pop motifs and fantastical visuals. He has gathered a team of producers, photographers, mentors and videographers and has just completed recording of his debut EP 'Home'.
Due for release in Spring 2024, Martin's debut EP 'Home' exhibits the best of straightforward singer-songwriter pop and indie electronica, with a sprinkling of queer dance pop.

The debut release from Martin
An atmospheric sun-drenched epic set to a backdrop of warm synths and rousing string arrangements, Martin's debut single 'Summer Haze' was released in 2019. The MellowheadUK produced track signalled a bold first outing a fresh take on the atmospheric alt-pop of the likes of Florence + The Machine.
The second studio release
‘Depth Over Distance’ is the second studio release from Martin. The heart-on-your sleeve singer-songwriter guitar ballad premiered on 'The Smallest Talk Show in The Netherlands' on 11/5.
